Escoda Sanahuja Coll del Sabater 2007 Conca de Barberà

A blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Taut, spicy and dense with a nice, earthy, spicy, savoury character. Lovely focused dark cherry and plum fruit with grippy structure. This is almost Bordeaux like, and it’s nicely savoury. Nice balance between the fruit and the savoury, slightly earthy character, but it’s perhaps just a little too dry?
